JUSTICE ON SPEED DIAL™

Martel (Marty) Mikhail
Personal Injury Lawyer
I was raised in Ottawa, where I spent most of my formative years. From early on, I knew I wanted to use the law to fight for people who couldn’t always fight for themselves. That dream led me to the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, where I earned my Juris Doctor in 2019, including an exchange semester at the University of Barcelona.
I began my career in wrongful dismissal and employment litigation, representing dismissed workers in disputes before the courts, the Ministry of Labour, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and the Ontario Labour Relations Board. Most of my early experience was dedicated to helping employees stand up to unfair treatment and corporate power.
In 2021, I transitioned into personal injury law, where I have since represented clients in motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, dog bites, and accident benefits disputes. My trial experience includes second-chairing two personal injury trials before the BC Supreme Court (Murphy v. Snippa and Franklin v. Coco), as well as conducting discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and hearings before Ontario’s License Appeal Tribunal. I’ve also worked on class action litigation and arbitration matters, sharpening my skills as a strategist and advocate.
I am currently affiliated with Quinn Thiele Mineault Grodzki LLP (QTMG Injury Lawyers) in Ottawa, where I practice personal injury law. Alongside my work with QTMG, I founded 1-888-HURT-911 as my personal practice and brand. My mission is simple: to give people an easy, accessible hotline to call when life blindsides them.
At 1-888-HURT-911, I serve my clients with diligence and compassion, and I believe competence and clear communication are at the core of every strong lawyer-client relationship.
When you call 1-888-HURT-911, you’re not just calling a lawyer, you’re reaching out to a lifeline for justice. I’ll pick up the fight so you can focus on getting better.
